Airport in Georgetown

The Georgetown County Airport is publicly owned and operated by Georgetown County and oversight is provided by the Georgetown County Airport Commission.

Organizationally, the Georgetown County Council Members appoint members to the Airport Commission, which are responsible for airport policies and planning.  The property currently consists of 645 acres, located at 129 Airport Road in Georgetown, South Carolina. This is approximately 5 miles south of downtown Georgetown along Highway 17. The Airport features an all-weather 6,001′ main runway with RNAV approaches, and a 4,700 secondary runway, full length taxiways and a full-service Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
